About the author:

Stefan Galvanek studied art in Europe, and after moving to Toronto, he continued his studies at the Ontario College of Art. His work evolved from traditional figures in the 1960s, through anamorphic distortions in the 1970s, to his latest works that combine figures with landscapes and rituals. His works are in collections around the world. Stefan is a member of the Ontario Society of Artists and the founder of an art school in Toronto. He teaches drawing and painting at several institutions and has an extensive number of exhibitions to his name.
